LET GO OF ANXIETY AND …
RELAX
We begin
developing at map of reality even before we are born, based upon our
visual, auditory, kinesthetic and olfactory sensations and
experiences. This map is only our perceptions of reality. The map is
not the territory and the map can be changed.
A child does not
have the ability to rationalize the same as an adult, thus, they
observe the behavior of their caretakers, teachers and clergy etc.,
and pattern their behavior by what they see sense or feel. If a child
lives with someone who expresses their stress by angry outburst, that
child is likely to express anxiety and frustration in the same way or
if they see someone who suppresses fear and anger, and does not allow
a healthy expression of those emotions, the child may grow up with the
same coping skills. The good new is; you can change those old
programs.
In addition,
anxiety is a very serious element in pain. When the body tenses, the
muscles tighten and the pain is exacerbated. Chronic pain is also,
influenced by stress, anxiety, fear and other external factors. Pain
is approximately 25% physical and 75% emotional.
Hypnosis is a
powerful all natural way to teach your body how to relax and let go of
stress and anxiety. Hypnosis by passes the analytical left-brain and
accesses the unconscious mind to help you release endorphins, which
give you a sense of peace and well being.
If you have the desire to be stress free
and then, beat yourself up because you keep telling yourself “I must
not be stressed”, I must not be stressed”, and yet you continue to
feel stressed. The feeling of failure is simply reinforcing an inner
belief that you don’t have control and you can't stop being stressed.
Our unconscious mind is like a
computer. It is programmed with all sorts of software, some may be
good and others simply are not functional anymore. Your program
dealing with stress, may have served you in some way in the past;
however, it is now creating more stress, anxiety, fear and health
problems. It's time to get rid of that old programming.
Your unconscious mind
obeys your repetitive thoughts. If you have been thinking negative
thoughts about yourself, your circumstance and other people, your
unconscious mind will set out to create in your life what you believe
is true about yourself and those who share your life.
It is important to
think only positive thoughts. Instruct your unconscious mind as to
who you want to be. If you want to have a healthy body and feel at
peace, tell yourself, “I AM healthy”, “I AM calm”, “I AM at peace with
my circumstances”. It may not be true when you say it; however, the
subconscious mind does not know the difference in what you perceive as
reality and what is imagined. If you keep the positive thought in
your mind, your unconscious mind will have no choice, but to create
circumstances that allow you to be at peace. You can even reverse
some negative health conditions by using repetitive positive
affirmations. This process works even faster if you imagine in your
minds eye and feel in your body how it looks and feels to be healthy,
comfortable and at peace with your circumstances.
It is a well know fact that some diseases can
be caused by negative emotions consistently held in our body over
time, i.e., anger, pain, and guilt to name only a few. Our
breathing, heart, blood pressure, and hormonal responses, can be
controlled by our unconscious mind.
Much of our unwanted
behavior is unconsciously created over time because of the traumas we
have experienced. Even minor incidents can have a profound affect on
the unconscious mind. Your repetitive thoughts have a powerful affect
on your unconscious mind. You can change your behavior by changing
your thoughts. Make a list of the positive things you wish to
experience in your life then, direct your unconscious mind using the
words “I AM”, for example:
I AM calm
I AM at peace with my
circumstances
I AM successful
I AM healthy
I AM pain free
I AM abundant
You can make up any
affirmation you choose by simply including the word “I AM” in front
of it. It is even more powerful if you can feel the emotion, i.e.,
feel healthy… feel successful… feel abundant. If you don’t know what
it feels like, make it up. Your unconscious mind doesn’t know the
difference.
Before you begin
listening to your CD, sit down and make a list of what you wish to
experience in your life.
Use your powerful CD
in conjunction with your affirmations and the feelings associated with
your desired outcome. You will be surprised to discover how quickly
you can change your old unhealthy habits into new healthy behavior
